RAF Overview
Since 2008 there were major changes in the Road Accident Fund Legislation (RAF). Road accident victims who now seek to claim damages will have to prove that they have sustained serious injuries. The Road Accident Fund, in addition to been ordered to pay the client’s damages had to also pay an additional R1 400 000 (R1,4 million rands) in interest to our client for the delays it caused.
